Lead times
- In-stock orders dispatch within 3–5 business days of cleared payment.
- Custom-pack, private-label or large-volume orders: 10–15 business days.
- Transit time depends on Incoterm, destination and selected carrier.
Carriers and handling
Shipments are dispatched via vetted express (DHL, FedEx, UPS) or freight forwarders for full pallets. Saffron is sealed in food-grade aluminium-lined bags inside light-blocked outer cartons and shipped under controlled ambient conditions.
Incoterms
- EXW — Buyer collects from our New York warehouse; Buyer handles export, freight and import.
- FOB — Seller delivers to the named port of shipment; Buyer takes risk thereafter.
- DDP — Seller delivers cleared for import to Buyer's address. Available to selected destinations.
Customs duties, import taxes and clearance fees are Buyer's responsibility under EXW and FOB.
Tracking and proof of delivery
A tracking reference is issued on dispatch. Proof of delivery is archived and available on request for 12 months.
Lost or damaged in transit
Buyer must note visible damage on the carrier's delivery receipt and notify us within 48 hours. Concealed damage or shortage must be reported within 7 days with photographs of the outer carton, inner packaging and seals. See Returns & Claims.
Export restrictions
We do not ship to jurisdictions subject to comprehensive sanctions or where import of saffron is prohibited. Orders to restricted destinations will be refunded.
